Funeral services for Mr. Roy Lee Mitchell, of East Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Highway 29 South in East Dublin. Pastor Billy Wicker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Royal Springs Church Cemetery.

Mr. Mitchell who, passed on July 20, 2016, was born on January 17, 1964, to Joseph B. Mitchell, Sr. and the late Roberta Williams Mitchell.

He was a faithful employee of Dublin Construction. He was also a devoted member at Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon and Sunday School Teacher.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Tanya Mitchell; children, Anthony (Tanzia) Mitchell, Brunswick, Latoya (Gregory) Mitchell -Rhymes, Vidalia, Carla Hicks, Dublin and Shandrica Mitchell, Decatur; stepchildren, Tajuana Nelson, Martavas Nelson, Shondavias Nelson, Emya Bledsoe, Dublin; siblings, Joseph B. (Charlene) Mitchell, Jr., Lawton, Oklahoma, Willie L. Mitchell, Soperton, Larry (Deborah) Mitchell, Hartwell, Cynthia (Lester) Dunn, Trussville, Alabama, Marsha Carr, East Dublin; special friends, Jeff Wright, Michael Plummer and Darrell Smith and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1876 Cook Street in Montrose and 107 Price Street in East Dublin.
