Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Tucker, of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2 PM at the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church, 78 Mitchell Grove Church Road, Wrightsville. Reverend Ricky Stanley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Tucker, who passed on September 21, 2015, was born on October 30, 1924, in Johnson County to the late Burley and Lonnie Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tucker; four sisters, Lula Norris, Essie Walker, Lonnie Norris and Bernistene Fleming; three brothers, Lonnie Walker, Author L. Cason, and Hamp Walker.

Mrs. Tucker was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all of those who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Leotis (Sandy) Hurst of Valrico, Florida; one brother, Willie Clyde (Carol) Walker of Opa-Locka, Florida, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchilden; a devoted niece and caregiver, Jackie Battle of Wrightsville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Ms. Jackie Battle, 73 Flanders Street in Wrightsville.
