Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Edmond, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 11 AM at the Christian Center of the Jordan Grove Church Of God In Christ, 1330 US Highway 319 North in East Dublin, Georgia. Pastor James D. Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Edmond, affectionately known as "R. Kelly", passed away on July 27, 2014, and was born on February 6, 1964, in Laurens County to Mrs. Mable Ward. He attended Dublin City Schools and was formerly employed by Roche Farm and Garden.

Mr. Edmond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Willie T. & Millie T. Edmond; by his sister, Delois Howard; and by his son, Damon T. Prymus.

Mr. Ronald Edmond leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of twenty years, Leslie Edmond of Dublin; children, Rondrieka Edmond of Dublin, Sheronica Edmond, Rakeem Edmond, both of Tallahassee, Florida; stepchildren, Chandra Nesbitt of Dublin, Christopher (Alecia) Nesbitt of Augusta; sister, Angela Edmond of Mt. Vernon, Teressa Edmond & Zachery Edmond of Elizabeth, New Jersey; great aunt, Pearlene Smith of Jacksonville, Florida; aunt, Letha Mae Cooper; uncle, Thomas Edmond of Jacksonville, Florida, Wilbert (Gussie) Edmond; grandchildren, Willie Westberry, Rakeem Edmond, Jr., Taniya Ford of Tallahassee, Florida, Kamari Slaughter, Calise Baker of Dublin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 301 Saxon Street in Dublin.
