Robert Evans

Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Booster" Evans, of East Dublin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin, Georgia. Apostle V. Z. Rozier will officiate. Interment will follow in Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born on April 6, 1935, to the late Walter and Georgia Bell Evans in Eastman, Georgia. He joined the New Bethel AME Church. He worked for Grizzard Piano for over 20 years, Dublinair Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, and Graham Construction. He passed away on November 27, 2017.

He was preceded in death by one child, Ricky Kenneth Evans, two brothers, Johnny Evans and Willie James Evans, and by two sisters, Verna Lee Northcutt and Georgia Lee Evans Nelson.

He is survived by a loving wife of 60 years, Reba Mae Evans, one daughter, Stacy (Kenneth) Pauldo of Macon, four grandchildren, Kenneth S. Pauldo, Classica Evans, Jessica Pauldo, Kaitlyn Pauldo, one great-granddaughter, Avianna Thomas, all of Macon, three sisters, Dolly Benford of Milledgeville, Margaret Anderson, Inez Fordham, both of Dublin, a nephew and a niece that he raised, Mac Arthur Evans and Katrina Woodbury, both of Dublin, sisters-in-law, Christina Carswell and Louise Daniel, both of Dublin, Callie Mae Coleman of Wrightsville, Darlenna Guyton, Frances Guyton of Dublin, Alberta Robinson, and Willmeana Robinson, both of Fort Myers, Florida, and brothers-in-law, G. W. Guyton of Lexington, Kentucky, and Freddie Lee Guyton of Fort Myers, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 104 West Drive in East Dublin.
