Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Ceasar, of East Dublin, affectionately known as "Big Joe" and Uncle Joe" will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 AM at the Millville Baptist Church, 1681 Millville Church Road, Montrose. Reverend Kelvin Washingto will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Ceasar was born on November 11, 1937 in Danville, to the late Mrs. Mary Ceasar. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Willie Joe Hart, and Mr. Reuben Ceasar, and by a sister, Mrs. Doris Stanley. He moved to Soperton in 1950 where he graduated from the Treutlen County Training School. He joined the First Baptist Church, where he was a faithful servant, and also served as a law enforcement officer,. While living in Soperton, "Joe" met and married Geneva Thomas Ceasar, and to this union, two children were born. Mr. Ceasar relocated to Fulton County, and while living in Atlanta, he joined the Bread of Life Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He also successfully worked as a chef, brick mason, and as a machinist. As he desired to live closer to his two sisters, Mr. Ceasar relocated from Atlanta to Laurens County, and joined the Millville Baptist Church where he diligently served as an usher.

He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Mrs. Bertha R. Brown, two daughters, Tonya and Mary, one son-in-law, Kenny, five grandchildren and a host of cousins nieces and nephews.

The family is receiving friends at 204 Jackson Street, East Dublin.
