Funeral services for Mrs. Robbie Lee Slaughter, of Montrose, will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11 AM at the Greater Union Grove Church of God In Christ. Bishop Wayne Leggitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Slaughter, who passed on June 17, 2014, was born July 13, 1955, to the late James Lee Braziel, Sr., and Mattie Bell Braziel. She was a devoted life-long member of the Greater Union Grove Church of God in Christ. Her husband, the late Robert Earl Slaughter, preceded her in death along with her four sisters, Dorothy Mae Smith, Fannie Mae Braziel, Hattie Mae Hill and Annie Pearl Allen.

Mrs. Slaughter is survived by two sons, Jonathan (Jomeika) Brazil of Dublin, Grabiel (Nicole) Brazil of Montrose; one daughter, Selena Renee Slaughter of Montrose; three grandchildren, Shakerria Brazil, Jontavious Brazil, Jonquez Brazil all of Dublin; mother, Mamie Brazil of Montrose; three sisters, Mary Thomas, Aretha Dixon both of Montrose, Bertha Braziel of Stone Mountain,; three brothers, James (Mary) Lee Braziel, Jr. of Montrose, Jerry (Darenna) Mack and Terry (Stacy) hill of Dublin; a very devoted niece, Kathaleen Coley, and nephew, Raymond (Geneva) Braziel and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1608 Short Road in Montrose.
