Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Spikes, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 2 PM at the Church of Jesus, 1265 US Highway 319 in East Dublin. Minsiter Mark Benberry will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Spikes, who passed on July 7, 2015, was born on December 5, 1963, to the late Eddie and Carrie Gilbert Spikes. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Louise Spikes, and by a granddaughter, Tyneshia Walker.

Mr. Spikes graduated from East Laurens Comprehensive High School in 1982. His past employers include Hollow Valley, Laurens County School System, Irish Moving Company, Shamrock Nursing Home and Dublinair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of the Church of Jesus.

He is survived by his wife of twenty three years, Annie Ruth Spikes; daughters, Lakeisha Walker, Annie Ruth Walker, Andrea (Lindsey) Spikes and Tiffany (LaShanna) Spikes ; siblings, Freddie Spikes, Diane Barkley, Henry Spikes, Thomas Spikes, Debra Spikes, Betty Spikes, Gary (Ollie) Spikes and Shannon Spikes; grandchildren, Reginald Walker, Isaiah Walker, Rickey Walker, MyKala Walker, Melvin Walker, Kylee Spikes, Destiny Walker and Larry Bernard O'Neal, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1224 Academy Avenue.
