Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Russell Ellington, of Dublin, will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery on East Mary Street in Dublin.

Mr. Ellington, also known as “Dirty Red” and “Duke", was born on November 5, 1950, in Dublin, Georgia, to the late James Louis Ellington and Lydia Ellington. He departed this life on July 24, 2018.
Mr. Ellington was a simple, but complicated, man who had the gift of gab. He loved his family and was a friend to many.

He is survived by his mother, Lydia Ellington of Dublin, Georgia; wife, Darlene Jones-Ellington of New Jersey; children, Kelvin (Tiffany) Martin of Morrow, Georgia; Kenyon (Talisha) Lockhart-Ellington of Phenix City, Alabama; Autumn Bliss Ellington of New Jersey. 4 grandchildren. sisters and brother, Bernadene Ellington, Glennys (Lynn) Ellington, Zachary (Margie) Ellington, Lydia Margo Ellington, Tracy (Annette) Ellington, Tammy “Prep” Ellington and Britt Ellington, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
