Funeral Service for 73 year old, Mr. Richard Lee Gray of Clarksville, TX who went to be with his Lord April 14, 2017 at his residence in Clarksville, Texas will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Citizens Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E. Church Street Clarksville, TX with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Interment: Fairground Cemetery.

On April 14, 2017, at the age of 73, God called his servant Richard Lee (Poppa) Gray to eternal rest.
Richard Lee Gray was born July 17, 1943 in Clarksville, TX to Alfred Gray, Sr. and Mittie Mae McCulloch Gray.
After professing his faith in Christ, Poppa joined the Hope Valley Baptist Church.
On May 29, 1962, he married the love of his life, Gloria Jean (Sis) Reeves and they were blessed with 52 years of marriage and a very large family.
Poppa was a strong believer in community and was a proud resident of the Norman Hill community. He never hesitated to do what he could to help make his community a better place to live. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son, Henry Leo Gray.
Also preceding him in death are siblings: Alfred Gray Jr., Cal Gray, Lula Gray-Delmast, and Nancy Gray-Doolittle.

21 grandchildren ~ Kawanna, Keyanna, Anthony, Krysta, Marqueston, Jayda, Percy, Victoria, Niccolas, Ryan, Braison, Tassauria, DeLawrence, Henry Jr., Chadrick, Quienittia, Kierre, Jalacia, Nakeldrick, Sebastian, and Trinity.
