Funeral Services for Mrs. Nannie Mae Vickers, 95, of Dublin, will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 2 PM at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road, Dublin. Reverend Winifred McCloud will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

On November 24, 2015, Mrs. Vickers transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home. She was born on March 18, 1920, in Dublin, to the late Martin and the late Vera O'Neal Maddox. She joined the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member until her death.

Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Willie James Maddox and Jimmie Lee Brantley; one grandson, Reginald Smith; six brothers; and five sisters.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories four sons, George B. Brantley, Larry Vickers, Ralph Vickers and Freeman (Voncreaser) Vickers all of Dublin; one daughter, Gweneva (Odell) Ware of Dublin; three sisters, Helen Coney, Everlean Hill both of Dublin and Sammy Jewel Davis of Oakland, California; one sister-in-law, Juanita O'Neal; two daughters-in-law; seven grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at 178 Tattnall Lake Road, Dublin.
