Milton Allen

Funeral services for Mr. Milton Allen, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11 AM at the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1601 South Poplar Springs Church Road, in Dublin. Rev. Dr. Willie Edmond will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Allen was born on July 20, 1934 in Laurens County to the late T. R. Allen and Bertha Beard Allen. At an early age, he joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully as a Deacon until his declining health. He retired from Engelhard McIntyre Operations in 1998. He passed away on July 25, 2016.

Mr. Allen was united in holy matrimony to Rosa Mae Knight Allen, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Stevie) Edwards, of Macon, Georgia, Debra (Dedrick) Stowers, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Carol (Kelvin) Carswell of Dublin, Georgia, Veronica (Scott) King, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Betty O'Neal of Rentz, Georgia, Katrina Woodbury of East Dublin, Georgia.; two sons, Dallas (Beverly) Allen, and Darryl (Shelia) Allen of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Credolius Allen of Dublin, Georgia, and Alease (Annette) Allen of Macon, Georgia; four sisters-in-law, Christine (Richard) Baker of Dublin, Georgia, Earnestine (Darius) Azimi of Orlando, Florida, Evelyn (Sammy) Hill, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mildred (Felipe) Morales, of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Allen has eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 309 Allenwood Drive, Dublin, Georgia.
