YORK - Martha "Mot" Ramsey, 85, of York, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at her home.
The funeral will be at 3:00 on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at York Seventh Day Adventist Church with Reverend Daniel Brand and Reverend Tommy Huddleston officiating. The burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in York with Reverend Dennis Willoughby speaking. A visitation will be at York Seventh Day Adventist Church on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 6-8 PM.
Born in York, Martha was a daughter of the late Barr Huddleston and Esma Ashe Huddleston. She was the widow of Clyde Ramsey and of the Methodist Faith.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Linda Falls (Herbert) of Blacksburg, Libby Nivens (Ed) of Smyrna, son, CJ Ramsey (Amy) of York, brothers, Perry "Pete" Huddleston of Texas, Kenny Huddleston of Florida, Joe Huddleston, Barney Huddleston, Philip Huddleston all of North Carolina, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers who touched Mrs. Ramsey's life throughout the years.
