Funeral services for Mr. Marshall Lee Ashley, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015, at 10:30 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Ashley, affectionately known as Buddy", was born on January 19, 1941, in Dexter to the union of Lonzi and Gladys Ashley. He married Barbara Robertson and to this union four children were born. He was employed with Lord's Quality Meats for many years where he was a hard and diligent worker. He was a caring and devoted father and grandfather. He passed away on August 19, 2015.

Mr. Ashley was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; brother, Lonzil, Jr.; sister, Georgia Lee; son, Marshall, Jr., "Pokey"; and by a daughter, Cheryl "Nise".

Mr. Ashley is survived by two sons, Kelvin and Michael; daughter, Daphne; stepdaughter, Carolyn, eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
