Marie Hall Carson, 88, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016, at White Oak Manor in York.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Philadelphia U.M.C. Cemetery in York with Rev. Emily Sutton and Rev. Tommy Hope officiating.
Marie was a daughter of the late Claude Hall and Fannie Stricklin Hall. She was the widow of Frank LeRoy Carson, and was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis C. Horton of Hickory Grove, SC, Linda C. McMahan of Gastonia, NC, Margaret C. Whitener of Louisville, KY, son, Frank Carson of Sharon, SC, brother Bobby Hall of Florida, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by son James Hall Carson, daughter Eva Janette Carson, sister, Claudia Perkins, and brother Carl Hall.
