Funeral services for Ms. Lula Bell Curry, 66, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10 AM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, East Mary Street, Dublin. Reverend Elgin Dixon will officiate.

Ms. Curry was born pn February 23, 1948 in Laurens County to the late Arthur Lee Curry and Annie Bell Lord. She was called home on Sunday, August 24, 2014. She retired from the Dublin City Schools after 26 years. She was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Ms. Curry was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Lee Curry and Annie Bell Lord; three sisters, Bernice Underwood of Soperton, Luewina Lord of Dublin and Arthurlene Watkins of Florida.

She leaves behind four children, Kelvin Curry, Kandi Curry, Angelo Curry, all of Dublin, and Arthur (Phacita) Curry of Rincon; nine grandchildren, Kevon Curry, Shakiya Curry, Jhauni Curry, Samoria Curry, Jah’siya Curry, Kobi Curry, Sha’Liyah Curry, Zariya Curry and Kingston Curry; two sisters, Alma (L.C.) Moye of Soperton, and Annie Pearl (Glenn) Hall of Dublin; three brothers, Robert (Sheila) Curry, Ervin (Tina) Lord, all of Dublin, and Henry Lord of Florida; a host of nieces and nephews and a family friend, Betty Jean Coley of East Dublin.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Kelvin Curry, 911 Retha Drive, East Dublin.
