She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children: Retired SFC Horace (Beatrice) Dixon, Dublin, Dr. Bernestine D. McGhee, Augusta, Retired SFC Willie (Priscilla) Dixon, Covington, Curtis L. (Mattie) Dixon of Wrightsville and Jack Dixon Jr. of Wrightsville who preceded her in death. She also leaves to mourn her death, 17 grandchildren including one who preceded her in death, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
