Funeral services for Mrs. LaRuth Scream O'Neal, of East Dublin, will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 11 AM at the Greater Mount Pullen-Zion Hill African Methodist Episcopal Church at 1318 US Hwy 319 in East Dublin. Reverend Ted Walters will officiate.

Mrs. O'Neal was born on October 28, 1944, to the late Forest and Carrie Scream in Dublin, Georgia. On Friday, September 11, 2015, she completed her earthly journey.

She graduated from the B.D. Perry School in 1963. She attended Savannah State College and worked as a lab technician, florist, sickle cell administrator and retired from Ernst and Young, LLP, as a receptionist. She was an active member of the Zion Hill AME Church.

She is survived by her son, Ronald J. (Leisa) O'Neal, and two grandsons, Juan and Jordan O'Neal, all of Waverly Hall, Georgia; four sisters, Rosie Jackson and Lena (Leroy) Davis of Dublin, Alice Scream, of Jonesboro, and Brenda M. Jones, of Macon; one brother, Gregory F. Scream of Dublin; one uncle, Sam (Ola) Bell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; including a very special friend, Melvin Frizzell.

The family will receive friends at 909 Manning Drive in East Dublin.
