Funeral services for Mrs. Kathy Denson of Montrose will be held on Monday, March 17 at 11:00 AM at the Jordan Stream Baptist Church, Highway 112 in Toomsboro. Interment will follow in the Jordan Stream Church Cemetery. Reverend Arthur Gordon will officiate.

Mrs. Denson was born on November 11, 1960, to Mr. Carl Glenis Ely and Mrs. Mattie Chritian who preceded her in death. She received her education at Pennington High School in Virginia.

On May 4, 1997 she was joined in holy matrimony to Larry Denson.

She leaves to cherish her memory a very devoted and loving husband, Larry Denson; one daughter, Cynthia Boyce of North Carolina; two sons, T.J. (Nikki) Shiler, Rentz, Micheal Holliman, Montrose; two step daughters and one stepson, Shonda Robins, Irwinton, Maurice (Bonika) Denson, Atlanta, and Lashasta Marie Denson of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers, Joann (Ronnie) Dollar, Bruce (Kathy) Ely, Danny (Rita) Christian, Jessie Lee (Benny) Carver, Mattie (Harrison) Young, Janie (Jim) Barker, Tammy (Randy) Wade, all of Virginia, Jason (Casey) Christian of Alabama; one aunt, Lola Fannon of Virginia, Joe B. (Violet) Denson, Vivian Denson, Nathaniel Coney of Dublin, Mattie B. Whipple, Irwinton, Rev. Larry (Earnestine) Jamison of Byron and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1776 Old Macon Road in Montrose.
