Born in Charlotte, NC, Jonathan was a son of Michelle Dowdy Hall and John Charles “Chuck” Dowdy. He was a surveyor and a member of Rock Hill Christian Church.
Jonathan is survived by his mother Michelle Dowdy Hall (James Donald “Don” Hall Jr.), father, John Charles “Chuck” Dowdy (Tina Marie Dowdy), son, James “Jamie” Andrew McNamara III, sister, Anna Elisabeth Dowdy, step-sister, Rebekah Hall Miller, step-brothers, James “Tripp” Donald Hall III, Zachary Jefferson Sowers, aunt, Donna Ritter, and maternal grandmother, Frances Capps Moser.
