Funeral Services for Deacon Jimmie L. Blash, Sr., of Waterbury, Connecticut, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 3 PM at the Greater Union Grove Church of God in Christ, 4780 US Highway 80, Montrose. Apostle Vertise Rozier will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eason Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 2022 Eason Hill Church Road, Montrose.
He leaves his legacy of two daughters, Wilnoria Blash and Mary Blash both of Connecticut; one son, Irving Blash of North Carolina; two sisters, Katie Lee Coley and Emma Taylor both of Montrose; two sisters-in-law, Sally Blash of Montrose and Daisy Blash of Connecticut; devoted niece, Evangelist Lucy B. Coley of Montrose; devoted nephew, Marbie Lee (Cooney) Taylor; and many more nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home of his niece, Evangelist Lucy B. Coley, 135 L. M. Coley Road, Montrose.
