James Shine

Funeral services for Mr. James Shine, of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016. at 2 PM at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 368 Bill Oliver Road in Wrightsville. Dr. Delois Reese will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Shine who passed on December 30, 2015, was born on May 31, 1945, to the late Annie Lee Shine and J. B. Shine. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant African Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosa Dunn, Jeanette Cordy and Melvinia Dunlap and one brother, Willie Shine.

Mr. Shine is survived by a daughter, Christine Daniels; two grandson, Kendrick and Curtis Daniels; one very devoted sister and brother-in-law, Annie Pearl (John) Bardge, Wrightsville; one brother, William Shine, Wrightsville; two uncles, James (Arlean) Woods, W. C. (Annie Grace) Woods, Atlanta; one aunt, Willie Mae Woods of Tennille; one very devoted cousin, Ostell Arline of Wadley and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 8867 North Marcus Street, Wrightsville.
