Funeral services for Ms. Hilda Mae Jones, of Chester, will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 11 AM at the Springfield Baptist Church, 256 Carolina Avenue South in Chester. Reverend Stephan Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in the Burch Cemetery.

Ms. Jones, who passed on January 14, 2015, was born on April 26, 1964, to the late John D. Jones and Geraldine Reeves Hard. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church. She attended school in Dodge County and at the Heart of Georgia Technical College in the nursing assistance program. She worked as a nursing aide and in physical therapy before ending up at Standard Candy Company before her health declined. She was the loving mother of Ariannah D. Holliman.

She is survived by her sisters, Earnestine Mingo, Cathy Jones & Betty Linder of Chester, Patricia Mayes of Dublin; two brothers, David Jones of Macon, Terry (Christine) Jones, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 200 Pine Street in Chester.
