Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Marshall Blackshear, of Dublin, will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015, at 1 PM at the First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 605 South Decatur Street in Dublin. Elder Harold Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackshear, who passed on January 11, 2015, was born on April 22, 1915, to the late Robert and Polly Marshall in Johnson County. She was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.

She was a member of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church where she faithfully served until her health failed.

Mrs. Blackshear is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends; one sister-in-law, Maybell Johnson; a devoted former home health care attendant, Winifer Moss whom she called her daughter and was faithful until the end, and a loyal friend, Cora Ogburn.

The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Pearl Mayfield, 603 Buckeye Road in East Dublin.
