Funeral services for Mrs. Gerry Jean Swint will be held on Saturday, June 29, at 12:00 PM at the Everlasting Gospel Non-Denominational Church at 1300 South Jefferson Street in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery in Dublin. Reverend Cecil Moore will officiate.

Gerry Jean Swint departed this life on Friday, June 21, 2013. She was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Alice Whipple. At an early age, she moved to Dublin where she spent most of her life, attended Laurens County Schools, and was a faithful member of Brown Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy Swint, Sr.; two brothers, Willie Ben & Coty Whipple; two sisters, Rosie Marie Whipple & Betty Lou Houston.

Mrs. Swint leaves behind her memories to four caring children, Derrick (Stephanie) Stanley, Kenisha (Jerald) Bostic, Koymayia Stanley, Nicholas Stanley; four loving step-children, Mary, Shalanda, Randy (Serita) Swint Jr., and Jeffery Gilmore; two sisters, Annie (Rev. Douglas) Stanley, and Eleanoris Payne, all of Dublin, eight in-laws, Loften (Linda) Swint, Sr., Ricky (Annie), Lemar (Carmenletia) & Johnny Swint, Jacaqueline (the late Ernest) Chappell, Brenda (Wallace) Salem, Al (Carlene) Myrick & Tanya Pace; nine grandchildren, Nia, DaQuavius, Trinity, Jer'Nisia, Nyjean, Destiny, Nicholas Jr.,Keyundria and Kiyah, ten step-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends who will carry on her legacy.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 873 Brewton Lovett Road in East Dublin.
