George Griffin

Funeral services for Mr. George "Ham" Griffin, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 1:00 PM at the Anointed Vessels Restoration Center at 218 Joiner Street in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Gretta Smith will officiate.

Mr. Griffin, who passed on November 25, was born on November 20, 1935, to the late Willie Griffin, Sr. and Catherine M. Griffin in Dublin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Griffin; four brothers, Solomon Griffin, Herschel Griffin, Fred Griffin, Willie Griffin, Jr.; one sister, Katherine Street; one grandson, George Coney, Jr.
He is a member of Anointed Vessels Restoration Center and he was retired from Victor Forstmann, Inc.

Mr. Griffin leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Julie (Freddie) McClendon; four sons, Tony (Tina) Griffin, Kenneth (Linda) Griffin, Dublin, George (Mollie) Coney-Fayetteville North Carolina, George (Vanessa) Tobridge, Dublin; one sister, Willie Maude James Dublin; one brother, James (Anita) Griffin, Fayetteville, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Susie Wiggins, Luella Walker, Dublin, Pecolia Griffin, Atlanta; two brothers-in-law, Clarence (Marjarine) Wiggins, Thelma (Edith) Wiggins; grandchildren, Cynthia (Demetrice) Wright, Ashlyn Griffin, Kristie Coney, Dublin, Semetrius (Kendrick) Edmond, Warner Robins, Latoya Tobridge, Jawoski Tobridge, Erica Tobridge, Dublin, Towanda (Shedrick) Foster, Wilmington, North Carolina and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 409 California Street in Dublin.
