Funeral services for Mr. Franklin Lee Jones, of Montrose, will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 1 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 4195 Highway 80 West in Montrose. Reverend Phillip Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Franklin Lee Jones, who passed on October 30, 2016, was born on March 21, 1958, to the late Deacon Prince and Annie Mae Smith. Mr. Smith was a 1976 graduate of West Laurens High School. He was employed with Laurens County Board of Education.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Jones; children, Latansey Germany, Justin Deon Jones, Marcus TyRell Jones, Tevin Shymaine Jones; grandchildren, Jorden Jones, Freddie Germany, III, Damian Jones, Nadia Jones, Jayde Jones, Kennidi Jones; brothers, Edward (Patricia) Jones, Johnny B. Smith, Tyrone (Lantysha) Smith, Robert (Lue) Stephens, Jackie Stephens; sisters, Sarah Jones, Eva (Larry) Carswell, Virginia (Johnny) Hill, Channie Jones, Mattie (Bernard) Strickland, Elizabeth Philpot, Gloridine (Anthony) Hines, Irene Stephens, Areatha Carswell, Mary (Jerry) Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.
