Ezekiel Demmons

Funeral services for Mr. Ezekiel Demmons, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2 PM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 US Highway 441 South in Dublin. Reverend Milton Hughes will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Ezekiel Demmons was born on December 1, 1945, to the late Jessie Rene Blackshear and Johnnie Evans, Sr. He was a graduate of Oconee High School in the Class of 1967. He was a member of the Green Grove Baptist Church, and was a retired transmission mechanic. Mr. Demmons passed away on December 20, 2017, after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Linton Blackshear, Roger Demmons, Walter Lee Evans, Jimmy Lee Evans, and Albert Evans, Sr.

He is survived by his siblings, Johnny (Sandra) Taylor, Ruby Blackshear, Mattie Bennett, Earnestine (George) Outland, Willie (Elaine) Evans, Charlie (Jestine) Evans, Gwen (Cuba) Edwards, Georgia Bell Evans, Shirley Evans, and Lynn Evans, two aunts, Mary Bell Demmons, Margaret Anderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1609 Woodrow Drive, Dublin.
