Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Mae Moorman, 77, of Wrightsville, will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2 PM at Community Missionary Baptist Church, 863 James Grove Church Road, Wrightsville. Interment will follow in the Community Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jerry Walden will officiate. Mrs. Moorman, who passed away on May 23, was born on August 24, 1934, in Wrightsville. She outlived her parents, Vera Rawlings and Jack Goings a daughter, Sharon L. King and a sister, Eddie L. Sneed. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Jordan R. Moorman, five children, Alvin (Ossie) Moorman and Sylvia (Brady) Jefferson of Wrightsville, Randy (Linda) Moorman and Chandra Thomas of Columbia, South Carolina, Milton (Lisa) Moorman, Marietta. sisters, Valencia Opado of South Africa, Endell (Sylmar) Frazier of Killeen, Texas, Eola and Debra Burton of Wrightsville, Erna Arline of Atlanta an adopted sister, Frances Robinson of Miami, Florida and a devoted cousin, Earnestine Rawlings of Wrightsville, fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
