Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Rose Wiggins, of Dublin, will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the Christ Deliverance Temple Church, 403 East Garner Street in Dublin. Pastor L. J. Worthington will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Wiggins, who passed on July 1, 2016, was born on April 16, 1932, to the late Jessie and Mary Bell Rose. She was preceded in death by an aunt and caretaker, Mattie Dixon; mother-in-law, Julia Woodum; father-in-law, Elijah Wiggins, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Luevada Wiggins, Clara M. Griffin; and by brothers-in-law, John Wiggins and Elijah Wiggins, Jr.

She was a long time member of the Greater Jackson Chapel C. M. E. Church.

Mrs. Wiggins is survived by her husband, Thelma Wiggins; six daughters, Mary Swint, Eastman, Barbara (Lee Otis) Tobridge, Susie (Levy) Irvin, Luevada (Robert) Thompkins, Ella Wiggins, Elizabeth Ortiz; four sons, Cleveland Kinsey, Willie Wiggins, Frankie (Brenda) Wiggins, Clarence Wiggins all of Dublin; two sisters-in-law, Luella Walker, Susie Wiggins; one brother-in-law, Clarence Wiggins, all of Dublin, twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 306-B Johnson Homes and at 102 Windy Hill Court in Dublin.
