Funeral services for Mr. E. J. Jones, 77, of 510 Pine Street, Dublin, who passed on January 11, 2013, will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at 2 PM at the Mount Tilla Baptist Church, 2424 Highway 441 North, Irwinton. Reverend Carlos Jones will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Tilla Baptist Church Cemetery. He was employed for a number of years at Dudley Lumber Yards, and a year at Tanner's Paper Mill in East Dublin. He was a member of the Mount Tilla Baptist Church in Irwinton. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 51 years, Ethel Mae Jones, eight children, Joseph (Virginia) Mack of LaGrange, Lynelle (Jimmy) Taylor, Willie Mae (Rufus) Sutton, Raymond Jones, James (Sharon) Jones, Leatha Coney, Ennis Jones, and Patricia Jones, all of Dublin, one aunt, Pearlie Mae Bell of Baltimore, MD, two sisters, Ellen Stanley of Montrose, and Lynette (Ulysese) Hines of Miami, FL, three brothers, Oscar (Annie Lois) Jones, Carlton (Christine) Jones of Montrose, Cleveland (Annette) Jones of Ellenwood, seven sisters and brother-in-laws, Freddie (Christine) Mack of Montrose, Mattie (Willie) Lawson of Montrose, Lorine (Pete) Vaughn, Marian (Michael) Smith, and Kline Mack, all of Dublin, Husher (Emily) Mack, and Marshall (Hazel) Mack of Virginia, seventeen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
