Doris Isom

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Edmond Isom, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 1:30 P.M. at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, 679 Shady Grove Church Road in Dublin. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Isom was born January 26, 1945, to the late Sammy Lee and Annie Rose Edmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Isom; children, McKennly Jackson, Beatrice Jackson; siblings, Johnny Lee Edmond, Rosemary Whitehead.

She was an active member of Word of Harvest Church Of God In Christ.

Mrs. Isom is survived by a son, Willie B. (Katrina) Jackson; a daughter, Russena Isom (Delvin Montford), eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; eight brothers and three sisters, Judas (Joan) Edmond, Sammy Gene (Ernestine) Edmond, Theartice Edmond, Bobby (Helen) Edmond, Willie Lee (Nellie) Edmond, Sherwood Edmond, Sandra Torrence, Sheila E. Moore (Robert Curry), Ulysses (Loria) Edmond, Cambelo (Larry) Cannon, Michael A. Edmond; sister-in-law, Rosetta Edmond; special friends, Gwen Hall, Evone Lamb, Jeanette P. Parks, Gloria White, Denise Blair, Terrina Carswell-Coney and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 121 North Elm Street in Dublin and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 7-8 PM.
