David Thomas
YORK -- David Walter Thomas, Jr., 87, of 10 Rosedale Ave passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015, at his home in York.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
David was a son of the late David Thomas Sr. and Elizabeth Parrott Thomas. He was a longtime and active member of Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church, and later joined St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rock Hill, was a veteran of the US Navy, was a master mason, and retired as Vice President of Rock Hill Concrete Company in Clover.
He is survived by wife Louise Dickson Norris Thomas of York, SC, step daughter Jamie Norris Cason (Frank) of Anderson, SC, step son Robert E Norris Jr., (Deborah) of Knoxville, TN, step grandchildren, Robert E. Norris III, Meredith Norris Spears (Zack), Allison Louise Cason, Anna Elizabeth Cason, and William Frank Cason, Jr. David was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Hogue Thomas, and sisters and brothers-in-law Evelyn Dickson (Harvey) and Merle T. Grayson (Frank).
