David Frame
MCCONNELLS – David (Dave) Monroe Frame, Sr., 93, of 4986 Chester Hwy, McConnells, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 26, 2015. David was the widower of Elizabeth Ferrell Frame. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Willie Jordan, Ruth Ferrell, Elizabeth Smith Mora, and Martha Huey as well as two brothers, Ralph and Robert Frame.
David was born July 16, 1922 in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late William Robert Frame and Martha Jane Yost Frame.
David was an electrician most of his working years beginning with Jones Electric in Charlotte. He worked for Bowater, Essex, Mobil Chemical, Harrison Electric, and many others during his long work career. After his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and tooling around his farm on his tractor and golf cart while tending to his milk goats, Star his dog, and Calvin his cat. He enjoyed being outside and mastered the art of “porch sitting”.
David was a Mason and past Master of Sandy River Lodge #207 in Armenia, Chester County. He was a member of the Hejaz Shriners and belonged to the Chester Shrine Club.
David was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church in America, McConnells, SC where attended regularly until early September 2015. He especially enjoyed his Sunday School Class.
Mr. Frame is survived by his five children, Sandra Frame Currence (David) of McConnells, Marsha Frame Plyler (Larry) of McConnells, David Monroe Frame, Jr. (Pam) of McConnells, Stanley Erick Frame (Chris) of Rock Hill, and Conan Edwin Frame of McConnells; his eleven grandchildren, Terri Frue (Jack), Richard Currence (Jodie), Melanie Frame, Scharlie Carlisle (Brian), Anna Spatola (Richard), Beverly Sheehan (Ryan), Kasey Frame, Russell Plyer (Trinka), Mitchell Plyler (Heather), Zachary Frame (Kristyn), and Sydney Frame; his twelve great grandchildren, Israel Plyler, Bailey Frue, Cameron Frue, Gwen Carlisle, Samuel Carlisle, Nathan Carlisle, Benjamin Carlisle, Hanna Spatola, William Spatola, Jonathan Spatola, Eli Sheehan and Hampton Frame.
The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Olivet PCA in McConnells, SC with Rev. Chip McArthur officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM at Bratton Funeral Home in York.
The family wishes to thank Pruitt Health and Hospice for their care of Mr. Frame.
