Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Harvey, of East Dublin, will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the New Bethel African American Episcopal Church, 1820 New Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend Nathaniel Veal will be officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Harvey, son of the late David and Evelyn Harvey, was born on October 19, 1955, in Treutlen County. He attended Laurens County schools, and was a bus driver with the Dublin City School System. He was also the owner and operator of a cleaning business for 20 years until his retirement. His enjoyments were going to church, fishing, gardening, helping people and spending time with his family. He departed this life on May 18, 2016, and was preceded in death by a sister, Earnestine Harvey Hazley, a brother, Arthur Mincey, an aunt, Ethel Pearl Lovett, and a father-in-law, Mr. Frank R. Kellam, Sr.

Mr. Harvet is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Juanita Kellam Harvey, sons, Timothy Christopher Harvey, Michael Brian Harvey, and Edward Keshawn Harvey, all of East Dublin, daughter, Olympia Cantrell Dudley of Dublin, Kurtia (Ronnie Jr.) Derrico of Crawfordville, and Baja Alicia Harvey of East Dublin, brothers Sammie (Kimberly) Coney Jr., of Oxnard, California, Marshall Mincey of Jacksonville, Florida, Otis Mincey of Soperton, sister, Shelby (Jerome) Jordan of Soperton, mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kellam of East Dublin, brother-in-law, Frank (Vertis) Kellam of Dublin, sister-in-law, Louise Kellam of Dublin, a devoted nephew, Cornelius (Tamika) Hazley, a devoted aunt, Lois (Capers) Knight, and a devoted friend, Pastor Robert Hall, six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 979 Salter Square, East Dublin.
