Funeral services for Ms. Courtney Shantrell "Purple Girl" Billue, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 2:00 PM at the Green Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2418 Highway 441 South in Dublin. Reverend Milton Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Ms. Billue, who passed on January 14, 2017, was born on January 20, 1987, to Eva Davis and the late Nathaniel Brooks. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jack and Elizabeth Foreman and Joseph Brooks; uncles, April Foreman, Willie B. Jones, Tobey G. Foreman, Gary Brooks and Joseph Brooks, Jr.

Ms. Billue is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Eva (Benjamin) Davis, Dublin, sister, Phyllis (Jessie) McCoy, Dublin, five brothers, Chad (Louise) Foreman, Sherman (Chelsea) Foreman, Nicholas (Shawanda) Billue, Colby (Shequove) Billue, Dublin and Brian Brooks, New York, grandmother, Katie Mae Hall, Dublin and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to include a very special friend, Kenny Lewis of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The family is receiving friends at 508 Florida Street in Dublin.
