Clyde Green

Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Green, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 1 pm in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Terry Rozier will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Green, who passed on November 29, 2013. was born on June 18, 1933, to the late Otis and Lila Green. He attended Laurens County Schools. He was employed at the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Medical Center where he retired after 30 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Oreatha Green, and a brother-in-law, Reverend Edward Jackson.

Mr. Green is survived by four children, Terry Green of Atlanta, Jeffery (Andrella) Green, Brenda Green, Victor Green, all of Dublin; one sister, Edna Brown of Miami, Florida; half sister and half brother, Martha Joe Green of California and Jack O'Neal of Dublin; three sisters-in-law, Lenora Lester of Dumfries, Virginia, Angela (Douglas) Churchill of St. Petersburg and Delories (Tommy) Rice of Douglas; brother-in-law, Larry Brown of Douglas; sister-in-law, Patricia Jackson of Austin, Texas; devoted family friend, Patricia Chappell, sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends at 410 Pine Street in Dublin.
