Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Ann McRae, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 1 PM at the First African Baptist Church, 405 Telfair Street in Dublin. Reverend Keith Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. McRae, who passed on January 5, 2016, was born on October 12, 1938, to the late Reverend Pringle and Mrs. Laura Mae Evans Jackson in Dublin. She was educated at Washington Street School and Oconee High School. She was the wife of the late Mr. Louis McRae.

She was a member of the First African Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess. She was also a member of Fidelity Chapter 45 of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by five children, Avian Jackson, Amber (Terrance) Mack, Dublin, Stevie (Rhonda) Jackson, Sr., Dublin, Tyrus (Towanda) Jackson, Hope Mills, North Carolina and Anthony (She') Jackson, Atlanta; one brother, Willie Lee Jackson, Dublin; sisters, Annie Laura Lowery, Rosalyn E. (Charles) Berry, Dublin, Mary Jo Jackson, South Port, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Louis McRae, Dublin; three brothers-in-law, Benjamin McRae, Orlando, Florida, Otis (Mary) McRae, Morrow, Ronald (Curetta) McRae, Dublin; four sisters-in-law, Charlotte (Ervin) William of Savannah, Willie Mae Wynn, Morrow, Betty (Robert) Wells, Birmingham, Alabama and Velma Vickers, Dublin; five grandchildren, Stevie Jackson, Jr., Ashley Jackson, Tre'Von Jackson, Jordan Jackson, Jamie Jackson and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 306 Allenwood Drive in Dublin.
