Graveside services for Ms. Bertha Lee Cherry, 101, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11 AM at the Dudley Memorial Cemetery, East Mary Street, Dublin.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, Jesus almighty gave charge to his angels, to descend down and elevate Ms. Cherry. Affectionately, known as “Bird” by her family, she was born on July 16, 1913.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred and Frank Cherry; daughter, Eula Mae Arline; grandson, Zollie Arline; and great-granddaughter, Sylvia Rena Harris-Johnson.

She leaves upon countless memories with five caring grandchildren, Gwen Arline and Freddie Arline both of Dublin, Herman Arline of Warner Robins, Willie (Nedra) Arline of Centerville, and Cherrie Arline of East Dublin; fourteen great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1616 Academy Avenue, Dublin and 523 Sunset Lane, East Dublin.
