Bennett O'neal

Funeral services for Mr. Bennett O'Neal, of East Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. O'Neal, who passed on May 20, 2016, was born on January 9, 1941, to the late Ebenezor "Punch" and Pachey Ellington O'Neal. He was preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Lee O'Neal, and by a nephew, Tony O'Neal.

He joined Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.

Mr. O'Neal is survived by three sisters, Carrie Lee O'Neal, West Palm Beach, Florida, Mary Helen Jones and Corine O'Neal, both of Dublin; devoted nieces, Delma Kellam O'Neal (Kelvin Anderson) whom with he resided. Gracie O'Neal Pauldo, Linda (Ted) Pooler, all of Dublin; nephew, Richard (Jennifer) Jones; great nieces, Shawanda (Pastor Jamie) Pittman, Shericko O'Neal, Dublin, Regina O'Neal, McRae, Cierra Bostic, Atlanta, Officer Ashley Bostic, Jacksonville, Florida; great nephews, Larry (Marita) O'Neal, Dublin, Rodney O'Neal, McRae, Sgt. Michael Bostic, Jr., Jacksonville, Florida, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 319 Bradley Court in East Dublin and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, 7-8 PM.
