Annie Moore

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Maude Moore, of Dublin, will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2016, in the C.D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Kirkland will officiate.

Mrs. Moore, who passed on April 1, 2016, was born on January 7, 1921, to the late Reverend Tom and Dellar Darrisaw. She joined Samuel Grove Church at an early age. She later moved her membership to William Grove Baptist Church where she was on the Usher Board until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by thirteen sisters and brothers; one granddaughter, Kenya S. Henderson. Mrs. Moore was married to the late Eugene Houston and to that union two children was born; James Eugene Houston and Lena Houston whom also preceded her in death. She later married the late Samuel Moore.

She leaves to mourn her passing grandson, Tracy (Rena) Henderson, Dublin; sister, Cherry Darrisaw, Brewton; devoted niece, Margret (Lamar) Mosley; five great grandchildren, fiver great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 199 North Calhoun Street in Dublin.
