Albert McClendon

Funeral services for Mr. Albert McClendon of Dublin will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Tilla Baptist Church 2424 Highway 441 North in Irwinton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Prophtess Tracie Holliman will officiate.

Mr. McClendon, who passed on October 27, was born on April 11, 1951 to Albert Holliman and Ella Mae McClendon in Dublin. Mr. McClendon worked for the City of Dublin in the Sanitation Department from 1981-2009.

Mr. McClendon is survived by his spouse, Martha McClendon; son, Mitchell (Dina) Marion; daughter, Regina Gilmore (Terrence Nelson); brother, Wallace Stephens (Bernice Walden); god children, Walter Marion and Juanita Marion and a host brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. He is also survived by a devoted friend, Daphne Jenkins; stepfather, Edison (Pop-Bell) Taylor; brother, Wesley (Lynn) Taylor, Cleveland "Bro" Bell; sister, Peggy Taylor.

The family will receive friends at 907 Central Avenue and at 603 Strange Road in Dublin and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-7 PM.
